For the time being, all this will mean is that you can stay logged in to the site and won’t have to re-type your details when leaving comments, but in the future, we may add consider adding new content for registered members, so keep your eye on that!

A couple of people have also asked how we get a little picture next to our names on the comments section. Those are Gravatars, which are globally-recognised avatars. You can upload your own Gravatar at http://www.gravatar.com/ and as long as you register with the same email address as you use for your comments on other sites, your Gravatar should show up.
