We are Bonnie and Scoop, two barmy northerners who met down a coal mine. During many a long journey to the surface we would talk about our long lost gassed-out canaries, flat caps, cobbled streets and how the economic crisis is forcing the elitist upper middle classes into a major societal downturn, especially when it comes to their views on their own financial stability.

As a result of our long chats on't way t'top, we found that the t'interweb was missing a British (specifically northern!) podcast about Otalia and other stuff. From that moment on we gave up our mining days and created this site and podchat.
